Born in Mexico, Diana earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honors, graduating Suma Cum Laude from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2020. In 2023, Diana achieved the prestigious designation of SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), showcasing her commitment to excellence in human resources and people management. 

Beyond her professional pursuits, Diana is a seasoned traveler and avid hiker. She finds joy in exploring new destinations and embracing the beauty of nature. Her adventurous spirit extends to all aspects of life, and she is always open to new challenges and experiences. Bryan Cleavenger,

HR Solutions Consultant - ADP

Bryan was born and raised in El Paso, TX and graduated from Franklin High School. He earned a BBA in HR Management from University of Texas at El Paso in 2009. While attending UTEP he served as the student SHRM chapter's president. He would go on to earn a Master's of Business Administration from University of Phoenix in 2011. His HR background includes staffing & recruiting in the private sector as well as career transition counseling for Fort Bliss military service members seeking civilian employment. In 2014 he joined ADP, Automatic Data Processing, in the SBS HR Solutions Department where he has serviced clients with HR best practices, compliance, regulatory and technology related consultation. Currently he is a team leader at ADP and holds certifications in HR and payroll. He is excited about his 8th year with the EPSHRM board and creating positive energy and community for our members and sponsors! In his free time enjoys travel, movies, concerts, hiking, sports, networking, and of course...coffee!

Roberto Candelario

Owner - Candelario HR Consulting

Roberto Candelario is the Owner of Candelario HR Consulting, a 23-year US Army Veteran, and a board member of the El Paso Society for Human Resouces Management and El Paso Rebuilding Together Organization. Mr. Candelario was an Infantryman during his military career and held many different levels of leadership positions.  Deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Retired as a Sergeant First Class after a successful career earning such awards as Army Achievement Medal (5th Award), Army Commendation Medal (6th Award), Meritorious Service Medal, and Bronze Star Medal with Valor. Graduate from the Senior Leadership Course,  earned Air Assault, Expert Infantry, and Combat Infantry Badge.  Earned a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from Park University. Certified as a Society  For Human Resources Professional, Assistant Professional Human Resources by HRCI, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Jonathan Wagner, GPHR, PHR-CA, SHRM-CP

HR Certified Professional

Jonathan Wagner is a seasoned HR professional with experience in the consulting and energy sectors. Jonathan holds an MBA in HR Management in addition to multiple certifications, including GPHR and PHRca. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys travelling, hiking, swimming, and rock climbing. He currently resides in El Paso with his wife Elena, and their son Jack León, and daughter, Lourdes.

Leslye Sosa, BBA

HR Manager - Sun Country Medical Equipment

Leslye was born in Mexico and grew up in El Paso, TX and is a graduate of Horizon High School. Leslye graduated from UTEP in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. She plans to obtain her MBA and PHR certification in the future. Leslye has been in the HR field for 4 years and is currently working with Sun Country Medical Equipment (SCME) as the Human Resources Manager.

Claudia Camacho, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP

HR Director- Charter Communications

Claudia has over 15 years of experience in the HR field and has worked in all aspects of the HR field. She has worked in different industries in which she states has contributed to her ability to be a flexible and strategic leader. Claudia is currently employed by Charter Communications - Spectrum since 2016 and currently provides Strategic and Human Resources support to her HR Staff and Business Partners in El Paso, Texas as the site’s HR Director. Claudia is part of the Spectrum Women ERG (employee resource group) and a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications, NAMIC (National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications) and C2HR. Claudia holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She also holds the SHRM-SCP and PHR certifications. Claudia has been part of SHRM since 2009, has also proudly been part of El Paso Society for Human Resource Management since 2009, and has served in various functions on the Board to include serving as the President in 2018. Claudia is also part of the Texas SHRM Board and serves as the Membership Director for the State of Texas.

HR Manager - Emergence Health Network 

Angelica was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Bel Air High School. Angelica graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2014 and currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and is working to complete her Masters in Business Administration. In addition, she also holds multiple professional certifications including SHRM-CP and PHRca. She has over 7 years of experience in the HR field and is currently an HR Manager at Emergence Health Network where she started as an Employee Relations Specialist. In her spare time Angelica enjoys traveling, reading and attending concerts.

Dr. Linda Torres-Kleinhans

Human Resources Manager - River Oaks Properties

Linda is a native El Pasoan. A graduate of El Paso High and the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching Certification. Linda recently earned her Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. As the Certification Director for EPSHRM, Linda is the liaison between the chapter and UTEP. In addition, Linda is the lead instructor for the SHRM CP/SCP preparation certification course at UTEP.  Linda also facilitates a study group working on certifying with HRCI for the PHR/SPHR exam. Linda is a firm believer in Leadership and Development, she focuses on opportunities to strengthen employee skills thus creating a positive and engaging work environment. It’s about continuous learning and the passion to make it happen. Linda is the Human Resources Manager for River Oaks Properties.

Jennifer Erickson, MBA

VP of HR- Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso

Jennifer was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Loras College (Dubuque, IA) and her Masters of Business Administration from Mount Mercy College (Cedar Rapids, IA). She is approaching her 25th year in the HR field, having gained most of her experience working in healthcare and academic medical settings. Currently Jennifer serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) where she has been since arriving to El Paso in 2021. In her role as Vice President of Human Resources, Jennifer is responsible for leading, planning and directing all human resource activities. Prior to joining TTUHSC El Paso, Jennifer spent several years at University of Iowa Healthcare – Iowa’s only comprehensive academic health system – where she held various HR and leadership positions. In addition to being newly-elected as the Governmental Relations & Legal Affairs Director with EPSHRM, Jennifer holds memberships in the Society of Human Resource Management, CUPA-HR, American Society for Healthcare Human Resources, and MGMA.

Gretchen Zollinger, SHRM-CP

HR Generalist - Koplin Consulting

Gretchen Zollinger is a Human Resource professional who is passionate about people and thrives on serving and encouraging others to be their best self. She holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University and an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Western New Mexico University. For the past several years she has worked as an HR Generalist in a variety of fields. Her current role is with Koplin Consulting as the HR Generalist. When not working, Gretchen can be found quilting, reading, and gardening. Her greatest joy is family and spending time with each of her ten grandchildren.

Stephen J. Venzor received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law and currently serves as the District Director for the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors. His expertise in labor and employment law was honed under the mentorship of leading legal professionals in a renowned El Paso firm. Specializing in workplace issues like harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, Stephen is equipped with comprehensive litigation experience and adept policy development skills. As the founder of the Employment Rights Law Firm of Stephen J. Venzor, his practice focuses on workplace issues like harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Beyond his legal career, Stephen's diverse interests are evident in his culinary background. A graduate of Franklin High School in El Paso, he earned an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from EPCC and trained under a Two Michelin-starred chef in Costa Rica.

David Munoz Ayala, SHRM-CP, MBA


Sr. HR Business Partner - GE Healthcare

David is an accomplished Human Resources professional with 14+ years of experience. He's a people-focused leader who brings passion, drive and a results-oriented mindset to everything he does. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration, and a MBA -Human Resources management by Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM) and is a certified HR professional (SHRM-CP) since 2017. David started his career with Eaton Corporation's leadership development program and held different roles with increasing responsibilities at 4 locations in Mexico; after this, he joined the corporate benefits team at Helen of Troy in El Paso managing Health & Wellness programs and LATAM benefits for Chile, Peru and Mexico; in 2018 he was recipient of the Top 100 Well-Being corporate professionals honored by Corporate Health & Wellness Association. In 2021 David joined Amazon as a multi-site HRBP in Lubbock and San Antonio, TX and supported the organization with ER investigations as well as leading the talent & culture reviews in the North America -South region. Currently David is the Sr. HR Business Partner – Border Operations at GE Healthcare, he is responsible of the full HR functional partnership in Juarez and El Paso operations. Health and fitness are also a big part of David's life outside of work - he's certified as an Integrative Health Coach by Duke University, and Strength & Conditioning Coach by Eleiko. He likes to get involved in competitive strength sport events. David loves to travel with his family and explore new places in his free time.

Kathryn was born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Kathryn graduated from Belhaven University with a BBA in 2012 and earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2023. She has been in HR for the last 12 years and is currently an HR Generalist at Spectrum Communications. As an individual, Kathryn is known for her high-energy and warm personality. She can naturally connect with others and is genuinely interested in their stories and experiences. She believes in the power of collaboration and enjoys working with diverse teams to bring ideas to life. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
